IT’S NOT OVER YET
More than 50 years ago, my relationship with the Travis County Tax Office began when I accompanied my grandmother to pay her poll tax. That experience has been part of my motivation to build the best county tax office in Texas.
With me, it’s personal. And I think my grandmother would be proud of the job I’ve done.
You may have read brief story in today’s paper about a video on my website. My opponent was quoted referring to these challenges in the past tense, as if they were over. They’re not. We may live in different times, but we face many of the same struggles.
